The Production Village is a free online resource dedicated to promoting student and independent film and theatre. The aim of the site is to promote collaboration and co-operation between people who are working toward a career in the media industries. Registration is FREE and quick, and is open to all media students including:

The site represents a central point where students and independent production teams can find the help you need to develop and complete your next production, and includes a growing database of media students which is searchable by skillset and location to ensure the results are relevant to your requirements.*

How It Works

Basic usage of the site is free; You can advertise for people for your next production (Post a Job), promote yourself (Post an Event) and create an online profile detailing your experience and key skills. Or you can just drop in for a chat with other like-minded students to share experiences, frustrations and successes. All these facilities are free.

Other Services

Students who regularly use the site should consider upgrading to one of our subscription services, which offer the ability to upload multimedia examples of your work, and extended profile facilities. Subscription members will also be eligible for special offers on training courses, masterclasses and equipment.
