If the site is free, why would I want a subscription account?

The basic facilities of the site, including your online profile, are free to use. But we also recognise that some members will want to upload examples of their work to show potential backers or employers, and so we provide a secure online storage facility for your multimedia files, which can only be viewed by users who are logged in, and are delivered through a special multimedia player. But these facilities need additional specialist maintenance and so carry a subscription.

If I take out a subscription, am I tied into a contract or a minimum term?

No. You can cancel at any time without notice or penalties. Subscriptions are paid via Paypal monthly in advance.

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Absolutely! We think a subscription in The Production Village is a sound investment in any student's future.
