Ricky Barber

Ricky is the owner of The Crypt recording studio in Crouch End and runs audio production indie Bleach. He has had a career spanning the live sector, recording and publishing.​ Starting out as a touring and recording musician, he played bass guitar in the band Scylla alongside Toni Halliday, penning tracks that appeared in the movies Showgirls and Nowhere. Ricky then signed to Dave Stewart’s publishing company Anxious Music. He has a parallel career as a much sought-after location sound recordist, which has given him the opportunity to travel the world making documentaries for the likes of BBC, Netflix, Channel 4, Sky and the Discovery Channel. Ricky’s Bleach Music Library is now sub-published worldwide by BMG and has released over 100 albums across all genres.
